How to Request Data Deletion
📱 Method 1: Through the App Settings
- Open MindSpire app on your device
- Go to Profile Settings
- Tap "Privacy Settings"
- Select "Manage My Data"
- Choose which data types you want to delete
- Confirm your selection
- Data will be removed within 7 business days
📧 Method 2: Email Request
- Send an email to support@javamantra.com
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Username]"
- Specify exactly which data types you want deleted
- Include your username and registered email address
- We'll confirm receipt within 24 hours
- Data will be deleted within 7 business days
- You'll receive a confirmation email when completed
Important Considerations
- App Functionality: Deleting certain data may affect app features and recommendations
- Progress Reset: Deleting progress data will reset your meditation journey to the beginning
- Cannot Delete: Essential account data (username, email) cannot be deleted without closing your account
- Re-enabling: You can re-enable data collection and start fresh at any time
- Backups: We cannot restore data once it's been deleted, so please be certain
